Don't Light the Fuse

When checking out the site I learned of some countries that could be facing genocide. Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group. Then someone asked me, should the U.S. step in and help these groups who are being targeted. I personally think this is one thing we should stay away from. America is a diverse country with people from all over the world. I think if we were to try and fix the worlds problems we would just be leaving our self open to attacks on America. It could also anger other countries and provoke them into attacking us. I think we should off refuge to anyone able to escape but no I do not think we should be intervening in these countries affairs.
