1920s is the time to rob

This last couple weeks we have been discussing the 1920's and we had projects to investigate different gangsters during the 20's and 30's. I think it was interesting how easily these people robbed banks and escaped prison. Compared to today the police force was weak and gangsters ran the towns. John Dillinger escaped prison twice, and the cops couldn't catch him until he broke a federal law. Then the FBI was allowed to pursue him. Overall I think that gangsters back then had it easy compared to today
